Florals: in for fall

Posted by: Clara Haneberg    Tags:  Chicago, fall, fashion, florals, Givenchy    Posted date:  November 3, 2011  |  4 Comments

According to Chicagostreetstyle.com  blogger Amy Creyer, florals can totally pass off in the fall, especially if you’re wearing Givenchy’s Pansy Skirt. Embellished with a black zipper and dripping with drapery-like pleats in the back, this skirt is a show stopper–to say the least. Creyer says, “The pleating on the garment is sexy yet subversive. I have to admit, I never considered wearing a ‘bustle’ style skirt before I took this photo. Then I saw what the silhouette does for the female figure.” I must agree. Should you choose to mimic this style (assuming you’re not going to drop the megabucks for the actual look), let the skirt do the talking. Pair it with a simple, solid top, matching tights and a some sky-high heels.
To see a full picture of the knee-length, floral skirt, visit Creyer’s full blogpost, below.
